A notable "Riding With" first was established with Grayson Boucher, who most people know as The Professor from the And1 Mixtape Tour, the modern-day Harlem Globetrotters. Boucher, whose gifted ball-handling has made him a cult celebrity, is the first sports figure to use a rental car in the occasional Page 2 series where we interview athletes in their cars. Turns out Grayson Boucher, aka "the Professor" of And1 Mix Tape Tour and ESPN Street Ball fame, can actually play some "real" basketball. He isn't all flash and dance. They feature And1's stable of players, guys with nicknames like Main Event. Then, there's The Professor a slick, ball-handling guard who's somewhat of a pioneer in And1's urban world of street ball.

Quite a few people didn't really think And1's newest recruit, Salem, OR, product Grayson Boucher, was all he was endorsed to be. Yeah, the 19-year-old has unreal handle and earned the nick "The Professor" from schooling defenders, but some feel the frail, 5-10 point ain't the real deal. "Only the people that were close to me knew [what I was capable of]," he says. "Pretty much everybody else was surprised."

Grayson Boucher, the skinny white guy known as "the Professor" on the And1 Mix Tape basketball series on ESPN, has been studying acting to star in a movie about a young man who plays basketball - how fitting. Filming would start in April or May in L.A. The Keizer resident has spent the past two years on the And1 tours, visiting dozens of cities around the world.

The Professor is the newest member of the And1 Mix Tape Tour, winning an endorsement contract after battling it out on ESPN's "Street Ball: The And1 Mix Tape Tour presented by Mountain Dew Code Red" last summer. He had planned to mow lawns and bag groceries all of last summer, but instead found his way to becoming the next playground legend and earning a spot on the Tour.

Though he was known on the And1 Mix Tape tour last summer as "The Professor," 20-year-old Grayson Boucher was still in many ways just a student. He joined up with the tour after standing out in an open run tryout in Oregon. After a few months of rocking a sick handle against some of the best playground ballers in the country, Boucher earned his due, getting voted onto the team by both players and fans and earning himself an And1 contract for this summer's tour. Now The Professor can finally teach some lessons.
