Jude "Hollywood" Thomas is a well-known
streetball player based in Los Angeles, California. You can catch Hollywood in most of all the
streetball and celebrity games put down in Los Angeles. Hollywood was able to link up with many celebrities, and all of the known
streetball players in the area. Hollywood is now currently participating in numerous basketball events for the kids and fans with the Boys & Girls Clubs, the Kids City program with the Los Angeles Times, Ballin for Peace in the Streets Tour, Ball4Real Tour, Stop the Violence “
Sik Wit It Streetball Tour” and fundraising events with local Recreation Centers, High Schools and Universities through out the United States. Hollywood is known for entertaining large crowds with his
streetball skills and unique style of play. In 2006 Jude Hollywood Thomas had his break out year when he was Captain and Event Coordinator of the Slammin Trickz Freestyle Tour featuring his Hollywood Hoops
streetball Team formerly known as the Hollywood All-Stars sponsored by “Pony” and was invited to participate in a Los Angeles reality
streetball T.V show called “Ballin” on Los Angeles television Network "LTN" which he was a Co-Star and led the Valley Division team to the championship game against the Venice Beach Team and won. Hollywood’s Valley division team was crowned Southern California Los Angeles Streetball Kings of 2006.
Hollywood Hoops Streetball Team the next and the newest generation of
streetball magicians to brace game courts will entertain “children of all ages” all over the country.
Founded in 2002, the
“Hollywood Hoops” have been featured in the Nike Freestyle commercials, perform in over 50 celebrity games across the country and also have appearances in video games and movies as well many other commercial endorsements. The Team has played in over 300 games against a variety of different competitors and hosted a number of special guest players, music artists and TV stars.
The
“Hollywood Hoops Streetball Team” creates the magic on the court with their skill but also involve audience participation and hilarious hi-jinks in their unique style of basketball. Similar to what the Harlem Globetrotters format was based on, they differentiate themselves by providing
unscripted comedy and
competitive basketball. The
Hollywood Hoops Team will take on any level of competition.
About the tour,
“Hollywood Hoops” is a community driven event performing in local gymnasiums for ease of access and low cost for great local entertainment. The tour will serve as a show case for current talent on the court as well as give local performance a chance to be involved with entertainment tour. It’s a unique blend of sports and entertainment that combine to bring the first world tour of
streetball entertainment. Featuring players from Slamball, Nike Freestyle Team and the
And1 Mixtape Tour.
During their Southern California appearances, they’ll play against teams filled by local police and fire departments, who’ll benefit from ticket contributions to charities such as the Boy’s and Girl’s Club, Big Brothers Big Sisters and appropriate local charities.
