Whatever the situation in yesterday's American Basketball Association All-Star game, Cardell Butler had fun. On the bench, he'd bob and sway his head to the blaring music. On the court, he'd hustle on defence and ham it up with his teammates. He even showed the pearly whites after Drew Washington made him poster material after an emphatic dunk early in the third quarter where the SilverVision at the Metro Centre showed the two playfully jawing at one another. 02/01 - Bone Collector & Ballaholic in ABA game
The Hollywood Fame completed their first home stand of the season with a 96-94 victory over the San Diego Wildcats at Santa Monica College on Saturday night. The game was tied going into the final minute before Jamison Brewer scored the go ahead basket with only 30 seconds remaining in regulation to seal the victory for the Fame. The win moved the Fame into a tie for first place in their division. The Fame was led by guard Larry "Bone Collector" Williams with 24 points. University of Michigan product, Leland Anderson, finished the game with 21 points and 8 rebounds. ..read more.
