With KitKats new DVD the Application in the works sb.net caught up with the man to see what he's been up to
BT. What's up KitKat thanks for dropping by. As far as the internet scene is concerned you've been a little quiet lately, what have you been up to?
KitKat. I just been working on my game harddd bro, real hard.. alot of people don’t do that, but that’s all I been doing all this time, people aint been seeing new clips of me..Training hard in the gym, I do 5 hours at least in the gym every single day..the max I do in the gym is 8 ½ hours and that’s like 2-3 days out of the week. I do that, I'm a gym freak man, always looking to get better every single day…
BT. What part of your game have you been working on the most?
KitKat. All of it but number one out of everything I would have to say my speed..my ball control..that’s a big plus I see mad people who can dribble fast and do the freestyling and stuff but has no real ball control when it counts.. Working on my real game..like people have messed up and let me find a jumper, so I mean I'm staying on top of that, I got a nice lil jumper now, just given dudes a headache..so funny dudes be like is he gonna cr(swap) oss lol they don’t even get a chance to finish saying what they was gonna say..swap is the sound of the bottom of the net. I have a trainer that works out on my conditioning, explosion and balance. I also train with Eddie Jones's cousin Jaren Jones, he’s going over seas in a min but dude is a monster, I have diff workouts planned out with diff people like Jason Kyser aka Kowboy he's out in Michigan, he trains players in the off season like Zach Randalph, Richard Jefferson just to name a few, I have a few more spots with people that I really cant talk about but I'm blessed for the help people are reaching out to give me man. But besides my real game and my conditioning my tricks always have to stay with some crazy stuff, that’s what I'm known for and what made my name today..so I'm a monster now..and its def gona be a problem, so all you dudes who had a head start while I was on the low…keep pushing cause I'm 3 minutes behind you mah dude
BT. Your new DVD is being worked on now, tell us a little more about it
KitKat. Well my dvd has been held back for numerous reasons, good reasons and bad reasons.. But I'm some what it was delayed because the stuff your going to see on my dvd , u wouldn’t have seen on there if it wasn’t delayed and I'm talking about the latest of me..
BT. Who will be featured on the mixtape other than yourself?
KitKat. I mean at first I had a nice lil roster of feats. But I mean its going to be some throw back footy of papo, pop my two dudes who I came up in dime with, my boy Breathe Eazy and otb from streetball fanatics.
BT. What was the delay on the mixtape?
KitKat. Basically dudes was getting my dvd and sein all the footage I was sending plus folders packed with footage that I was sending through the internet dudes got headaches and resulted to dudes taking mad long to give me stuff till where I ask them to send my stuff back… man I got over four years up till last week of footage stashed.. So I got a mixtape / documentary of Kitkat up to now coming out ..lol its crazy bro..
BT. Who do you have editing the DVD?
KitKat. Honestly man I am.. It came down to me editing my own damn dvd .. I used to mess with video vegas back when I first came out.. And I mean I made a dvd before for my homeboys like 2 years ago title menu n all..but I just suck at editing..but now I been working with the program getting nice..I mean I like it better like this anyway cause I get to put exactly the taste n style I want it…so its kool..so between training and working on this my free time is slim to none…
BT. Any idea on an expected release date?
KitKat. na not yet..soon though, I'm hoping fall right before I hop on tour.. But I will be back to dropping clips here and there..like the new clip here, it’s a mix of old footage and newer but the way I am now doesn’t matter cause every time u see a clip or anything from me from now on if its new is gone be official krack and that’s my word
BT. What are your goals for this year?
KitKat. well to push my name back up there gain the respect that I deserve. Get on some more tours you know just make my initial approach to the big times of this streetball world..and I will make it..may not be this year, but within the next two years u will see Kitkat face on a bus, video game, commercials um pack of gummy bears don’t matter I work to hard and invested to much time to flop… so everybody just give me 3 minutes and ill be there no doubt.
BT. What's next for you?
KitKat. aww man have quite a few things that’s suppose to be going down between july and fall and so on.. Played up against Hot Sauce in FL a few weeks ago did my thing, got the respect so I might be going on tour with him in the fall, I have a few games I got invited to this Iverson allstar game out in the chi that I'm real hyped about man, so much things bro to even go into detail and some I'm waiting on the confirm word but I'm def excited about everything . But I mean aside from all that ..I'm going out for the ball4real spot I got a def good chance at that..so we’ll see how that goes
BT. Any last words?
KitKat.
