31/05 - Pickup Basketball Game Ends In Gunfire A game of street basketball turned violent Thursday evening after a person was shot after his team kept winning. The shooting ended a game of pickup basketball. Denver police say the shooting happened at about 8 p.m. at Westwood Park, at Ohio Avenue and Wolff Street, after several games of basketball.
31/05 - Majic's Journey Point guard Daryl Dorsey, the man Rome Gladiators fans know simply as "MaJic", is a top-notch basketball player. One only has to watch a game and see Dorsey dribble through pressure and toss a picture-perfect no-look alley oop for a dunk or see that he's averaging 24.8 points and 11.3 assists per game to know that. But the 23-year-old Dorsey has a story that goes well beyond the numbers on a stat sheet.
30/05 - Street Brawl What was supposed to be a great thing for the Umpqua Community College basketball program and an enjoyable game for spectators nearly turned into something it shouldn't have Thursday when the Streetballers exhibition took center court. Toward the end of a game between Team Roseburg and the AND 1 streetballers, a fight broke out between one of the streetballers and a referee who travels with the team. The player threw the referee into the stands, and while punching him, left one paying fan in tears after she collided with the two of them.

"We were just trying to get somebody, anybody to check out our games. It was a struggle," says AO, thinking back to when the Tour first started.

On May 28th, 2005 is the first official basketball event in Charlotte, North Carolina and the best up and coming streetballers are going to compete to see who has the skills and game to be showcased on the ETB DVD coming out in the winter of 2005. ETB will also launch a wide variety of clothing appeal at the end of the summer. Some of the players want to play professional basketball, some want to make the bigger company's such as And1. The players that are participating in our DVD's and games are from across the globe. 07/05 -"Alimoe" suspended Brooklyn forward Tyron "Alimoe" Evans has been suspended for one game by the USBL following his actions during the Kings' 111-98 loss to the Cagerz on Wednesday. Evans, a renowned New York City streetball player, made several obscene jestures to the crowd, repeatedly tried to trip Cagerz' players during the game, and threw a ball into the stands after the game.

01/05 - 'The War', YPA's 2nd DVD YPA called us and offered HoopsVibe the opportunity to review their new DVD "The War" before its release scheduled for May, 15 2005. After listening to a couple members of the YPA crew telling me on the phone how great their new DVD was, my expectations were set pretty high. The first positive aspect when you start watching the DVD is the usage of a menu, which has not always been used in the past on streetball DVD's.
