10/12 - Apache's Humphrey flying high in Tokyo
John Humphrey possesses the bj-league's best nickname. The man affectionately known as "Helicopter" also owns a dazzling offensive game. Simply put, Humphrey is a scoring machine. He led the bj-league in points per game a year ago (23.2). But the Tokyo Apache star has also elevated his game this season, scoring a league-best 31.2 ppg. Humphrey is in the midst of a torrid stretch. He posted back-to-back 40-point games last weekend against the Oita HeatDevils. He had 38 in Tokyo's win over the Toyama Grouses on Nov. 26. 09/12 - Apache go get AND1 player Jones
A Tokyo Apache official told The Japan Times on Thursday that And1 Mix Tape team player Tony "Go Get it" Jones will join the bj-league side. The official said the league is going to announce the signing of Jones on Friday. Jones, a Chicago native, is a 201-cm forward and is expected to fill the hole left by Nick Billings, who was released from the team early last month. In the past, Jones has been invited to NBA training camps, including ones for the Washignton Wizards and Memphis Grizzlies. Jones will reunite with John "Helicopter" Humphrey, a former And1 player, at Tokyo. ..read more..

07/12 - Streetball Invasion Tour lights up spectators Tuesday night
With names like Hot Sauce, High Rizer, Elevator, Air Up There, and more you know your not at any ordinary basketball game. The fact that almost every play involves an alley oop, fancy dribbling, and amazing dunks should tip you off as well. Fans who packed into the Sky View High School gymnasium were entertained by the Streetball Invasion Tour. The same guys that you see on T.V. traveling around playing streetball put on quite the show Tuesday night. The Streetball Invasion team is made up from players from around the country who have made the team. The team travels eight months out of the year and just returned from a stop in Asia. The team will head to Provo on Sunday. ..read more..

05/12 - Streetball Invasion in Riverdale
If you listened close enough Sunday night, you might have been able to hear the sound of James Naismith rolling over in his grave. But more than likely, the basketball inventer's agony was drowned out by cheering as the And1 Streetball Invasion Tour invaded Riverdale's Johnny Parsley Memorial Gym. About 600 spectators piled into the gym to watch the Streetball Invasion team take on a team made up of local players in an exhibition matchup. The Streetball Invasion team featured players from the popular ESPN program "Streetball: The And1 Mixtape Tour" which chronicles some of the best playground basketball players in the country. ..read more..
