The Off Season!!!!! Entry 1

Seeing as though the streetball season is still a few months away I thought I’d hit you with an update on what some of the more well know streetball players are doing in the off season. I’ll try and hit you up with one of these every now and then. If anyone has info on what other players are up to please feel free to share. Burtt Jr. hopes stop in Italy leads to NBA

The idea of playing overseas was never foreign to Steve Burtt Jr. When the former Iona College standout left for Greece last fall, he was already familiar with the landscape. And when an offer to play in the Italian League this season was made, he never hesitated. “It wasn’t a big adjustment for me,” Burtt Jr. said. “I lived in different countries as a child and teenager when my dad was playing overseas, so I was used to the culture.” ..read more..

Burtt follows father into lore at Rucker

Steve Burtt Jr. threw up a circus shot – a what-the-heck, no-look baby hook – as he was fouled and flung to the asphalt last week at Rucker Park.
