28/01 - Hot Sauce Signs with ABA Team
King streetballer Phillip “Hot Sauce” Champion has inked a contract to lay for the new ABA expansion team, the College Park Spyders. Duane “Spyder” Hughes, president of the team that will begin play next season, said that the signing should make ABA history. “This signing reminds me of when Julius Erving first came into the ABA with the Virginia Squires,” said Hughes. “There were no trumpets blaring or fanfare. 16/01 - Rainmen Sign John “The Franchise” Strickland
The Halifax Rainmen signed power forward 6′8″ 275 lbs John Strickland today. Strickland a New York native played in the CBA in 2007 for the Albany Patroons and in 2008 for the Monarch Skyrockets where he averaged 17 points per game and 7 rebounds per game. “Strickland is a vet with a lot of experience in winning and understanding what it takes to win. We are also looking forward to him in giving us more stability on the boards,” said Coach Rick Lewis. ..read more..

16/01 - Rainmen suspends Eric “Air Canada” Crookshank
The Halifax Rainmen have suspended the face of the pro basketball franchise for the remainder of the season and hard answers as to why are in short supply. The Premier Basketball League team announced Wednesday that six-foot-eight power forward Eric Crookshank would not play for the team again this season for “conduct unbecoming” to the team. ..read more..

09/01 - King Handles Huskies top X-Men
The Saint Mary’s Huskies finally solved the St. Francis Xavier X-Men in dramatic fashion on Thursday, but Huskies coach Ross Quackenbush could only name one thing as the deciding factor. “Dumb luck, honestly,” Quackenbush said. “I can’t really pretend it’s anything more than that.” Saint Mary’s certainly benefitted from a fortunate bounce in the final seconds. ..read more..

01/01 - D.C Celebrity Hoop Game
SeeMeBall.com along with Lonnie Harrell (Prime Objective of the And 1 Mixtape Tour) presents the Inaugural Celebrity Basketball Game. The game is scheduled to take place at 4 p.m. on Saturday, January 17 at Coolidge High School in Washington, D.C. The game is also going to be used to support a cause close to SeeMeBall.com.
