15/02 - Junie “General Electric” Sanders
Has played in several professional leagues around the world. Was recently named the USBL’s Sixth Man of the Year. His other playing experience includes stints in Argentina, Germany and Israel. He has never averaged below 17.0 points per game in any league. Sanders won a training camp spot by outlasting 114 other players at the Fayetteville Patriots’ free agent camp in October at Pinecrest High School in Southern Pines, N.C.

1994-95: As a senior, Junie was first-team All-Lone Star Conference and the league’s MVP. He was also first-team CoSIDA All-South Central Regional and first-team CoSIDA All-American. Junie was co-MVP in the Lone Star Conference postseason tournament and was on the all-tournament team in the South Central Regional. 1993-94: As a junior, Sanders was a first-team All-Lone Star Conference selection. He was second in the league in scoring (21.3 ppg) and third in rebounding (8.3 rpg), while shooting 55.5 percent from the floor. He was tournament MVP at the Barry Thanksgiving Classic and was all-tournament at the Porreco Cup.

Full name is William Sanders. He is a soul food lover with his favorite dishes being chicken and macaroni and cheese. Played on the same USBL team as San Francisco 49ers All-Pro receiver Terrell Owens. His favorite movie is Scarface. He has a 1-year-old son named June.
