Invited to the 2001 New Jersey Nets Veterans Camp. Drafted by Huntsville in the second round in the 2001 NBDL Inaugural Draft (10th overall).
Averaged 11.6 ppg, 3.6 rpg and 2.3 apg in 56 games (55 starts). Ranked fourth in NBDL three-point field goals made (73). Scored in double figures 32 times, including six 20-plus points performances. Led the Flight in scoring 13 times, rebounding five times and assists 10 times. Shot .344 (73-212) from three-point range (19th in NBDL). Ranked third on team in scoring (11.6 ppg) and assists (128) and fourth in steals (53). Set and tied his season-high for points (23) in consecutive games (at Asheville on 2/19/02 and vs. Mobile on 2/21/02). Notched his season high in rebounds (9) against Mobile on 1/12/02. Averaged double figure scoring in each month during the season, including a season-high 12.5 ppg in February. Registered 14 points, four rebounds, three assists, and two steals in his first-ever NBDL game (at Columbus on 11/18/01).

Appeared in 25 games for the Tampa Bay Thunder Dawgs of the ABA 2000, averaging 15.2 points and 3.8 rebounds. Spent the summer of 2000 with the Pennsylvania Valley Dawgs of the USBL, where he played in 20 games and averaged 13.4 points. In 1999-00, was a member of the Baltimore Bay Runner of the International Basketball League (IBL). Averaged 10.8 points and 2.4 rebounds. Dished out 72 assists in 49 games. Played for the Rapid City Thrillers of the IBL in 1998-99.

Played his final two seasons at Northeastern after spending his first two at Georgetown. In 57 games at Northeastern, averaged 16.6 points and 5.0 rebounds. Scored in double figures in all but five games of his senior season. Made the America East All-Tournament team in both of his seasons.
